Our expert Energy Manager has Chartered status from the Institute of Energy and can
provide you with various measures which you can save on fuel bills at home or at your
business.
We can provide our clients with:
•
how to use electricity or gas more efficiently, including specific examples of steps
clients can take (including DIY) to achieve improvements,
•
the implementation costs and energy savings of different schemes, energy
efficient appliances, low energy lighting, improved insulation, and the use of
controls and timers
•
how to obtain practical help with the installation and financing of energy saving
measures and grants available to help customers
•
the cost of using electrical or gas appliances and information about the energy
labeling of appliances
•
advise on the best tariff that would most suit our client’s working pattern
Ideally we would require 12 months bills to initially analyse the consumption pattern.
Opportunities for energy savings are obviously highly specific to your property but may
include some of the following:-
•
Tariff analysis
•
Lighting and controls
•
Building insulation
•
Motors and power factor correction equipments
•
Building control optimisation
•
Production process efficiencies
•
Monitoring and targeting
•
Heating, ventilation and refrigeration
•
Education and motivation of staff
Process Integration for optimum energy efficiency
The process industry sector uses a large amount of energy for heating, cooling and
motive power. The traditional approach to reducing energy consumption, and thereby
CO2 emissions, has tended to concentrate on specific equipment, eg pumps, motors,
boilers, etc. It is also well known that further savings may be found by examining energy
systems rather than individual items of equipment in isolation. A typical example is
investigating a site compressed air system as a whole rather than looking only at the
compressors.
On many process plants this can be taken a stage further by adopting a systematic and
holistic Process Integration approach to heating, cooling, and power generation across
the site as a whole. This often identifies sizeable additional savings and provides the
company with important guidance for longer-term efficiency improvements. Where water
consumption is significant, including water systems in the analysis may increase the
savings even more.
The introduction of Feed-In tariffs by the government has instigated renewed interest in
investing in renewable energy. We can advise on cost effectiveness of renewable energy
schemes such as wind and solar power installations.
We offer you a fully independent renewable energy and sustainability service, based
entirely on finding the best solution for your organisation. We are not tied to any product
or manufacturer, our aim is to provide clear, impartial advice that saves our Clients both money
and carbon.
In collaboration with our associates we have the ability to
provide a wide range of multidiscipline project services
including design, project management, construction,
commissioning and maintenance activities.
We aim to deliver practical energy solutions by working with
our clients to clearly understand their goals and mitigate
their risk of loss. The solutions that we develop will aim to
maximise the energy revenue generating potential of any
plant existing or proposed, We provide these offerings
through the full life-cycle of an energy project, from proof of concept, securing the project
agreements through construction, and ultimately working with you to manage your asset
safely and cost optimally. We have the experience and commitment to deliver the results
you need!
